If updating the installation does not help then you might like to ask there. The mandrake support community is one of its greatest resources. 4. I know this sounds a bit windows-like, but you could try doing an upgrade install as this may be more successful in recognising and configuring the printer. I have done this a couple of times with changed hardware. It takes only a few minutes and some presses of the return key. Of course the complete upgrade to 9.1 is still preferable. HTH Syd
