When you say stops, what do you mean? The systems freezes or what ever you are doing halts? Is it recoverable or is a power cycle required to recover from this? What version of Ubuntu are you running? Since it says /dev/sda7 I'm guessing you have several partitions on the go, give us your drive layouts?
