I remember that well. I had actually left OGC five years before that incident. But I had (and have) friends in its succesor organisation (GPS) In fact my wife still works there.
OGC was not a well managed (or well liked) organisation. Gershon has a lot to answer for. But at least he got his kighthood. Personally I found the mousemat a good representation of the way most people thought about Gershon.
