Found that pretty bloo light (not Billy Bluelight) indicates that Mint is *still* examining the drive. Unfortunately, it is unable to read the partition data- probably because there isn't any
And what number has Mint reached? I'm running 14 at present, and I have a feeling that it's a bit too long in the tooth...
AFAICT mint is now up to version 17.1 (Rebecca)
Ar, I'd reached that conclusion, so I downloaded the notes pdf for it. Yet to examine document.
