It's either a subnet problem, or its because you don't have a hub/switch to join your devices.
I suggest you purchase a small hub or switch, and ensure all devices are on the same subnet connected to your router. Having your printer connected via PC, via wireless isn't going to work without some pain.
I myself have a netgear combined router/switch/wireless and (touch wood) things just work!
