The point of using XML and XSL/T is that the XML has no presentation info in it. So, you don't need to know how it's going to look to write it.

Maybe your blind man is like this but I cant check my work with out the XSLT processor, I suppose I could move everything to xelan and back again for interests sake and to check the well formed nature of the XML but in the end I shall have to install sabcmd if I want to test things, also I am interested in the mechanisms of the make files.
