Been tied up with other stuff until now but belated thanks to all concerned with ALUG6. Special thanks to the guys who helped me with various minor problems - didn't get your names I'm afraid. Unfortunately...... Regarding the problem with using ppp as non-root, I can now connect to the net as both root and non-root but find that Netscape and Lynx behave as if there was no connection. This happens both non root and root, it was OK as root before. It's probably something pretty obvious but I can't puzzle it out. Any ideas? Please?
