So my hardware is usually years ago laptops and slow due to me being a cheapskate but I'm finding the new Ryzens quite tempting.
I was wondering about a new linux desktop PC with 16Gb Ryzen (with in-built GPU) and a 1Tb M2 but in a medium to small case (due to lack of space in office) maybe for about 500quid.
Can anyone recommend a more exact spec or recommend a website pc dealer? Back in the day I used to favour smaller local PC shops and I was wondering if there was anyone in East Anglia (who is linux friendly maybe) able to ship via delivery?

Have you tried Anglian Internet in Rackheath? They are local and have a good reputation. I have bought components from them in the past.
There is also 121computers in Diss - they build their own PCs so it might be worth giving them a call. Certainly you can get one without the microsoft tax.
If you want to go National, I'd take a look at ebuyer (I use them quite a lot) or cclonline (where I have just looked and specced a machine with a Ryzen 5 CPu, 16 Gig corsair DDR4, and 1TB SSD for just over £520)
Good luck, and let us know what you eventually get and how it turns out. I may look at Ryzen processors myself for my next build.
