Evening, all.
I've been lurking on the list for a while, and thought it's about time I introduced myself.
I've been playing with various flavours of Unix/Linux for several years now both at home and at work. My main Linux activity is using PERL to do various analysis of biological data. See http://www.sainsbury-laboratory.ac.uk/bioinformatics.html for more info.
I've still got a lot to learn, as I found out this weekend when trying (and failing) to get Debian up and running on my laptop :-(
