Which card? Which HOWTO? Here, cards are defined in /etc/network/interfaces but I'm not sure whether any other distribution uses that at the moment. It's not fully configured, as ifconfig would show it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I am trying to convince my management to change over from the MS products to the open systems GPL
