Yes, looks like the suitable option. I just noticed that an an MTU of about 500 produces a significant change in 'speed' over a dial-up (POTS). I didn't think it would make a great difference, but it does, esp. for loading graphics on a webpage.
Utterly useless for ADSL, leased/ISDN or cable modems, but then I don't have them.
