"Mike's crimson machine which has refused installs of Redhat, Mandrake, etc. suffered various attempts to install Debian unstable which resulted in it booting into Win98. Brett re-partitioned and de-bootstrapped it and got almost all the way through the process of getting a working Debian before running out of time. "
