Has anyone got any comments, warnings, POW, etc. about burning data DVDs under Gnu/Linux?
I got a DVD writer recently, specifically to use for backups, but have yet to get it to work properly with GnomeBaker (is there a better app?, perhaps I'd be better using simple CLI commands) although it works fine with Nero under Windows (haven't tried DVD video burning yet and probably won't for some time).
Google turned up 'Coasterless DVD Burning' http://www.troubleshooters.com/linux/coasterless_dvd.htm which I shall be studying but if anyone knows of any other useful resources they'd be welcome.
