I've loaded a program on here from a CD and was using KDE. Although it showed up in my packages I can't figure out how to get it to run! I was going to try 'run' but I'm not sure what to type in. I tried just the name of the program but that didn't work. I'm using Gnome more and more, think I like it better, and Gnome shows an icon for the program but when I click on it nothing happens.
What've I done or not done properly?
Also, when you're installing a program and it states you need other files, does that mean for certain that they aren't on here? Where do I go searching for these missing files?
