Can any one tell me how to change the way the date is displayed in LaTeX? ATM it shows up as July 19, 2001 which I don't want.
I want it to show tomorrows date (20th July) as:
20 July 2001
You want my ancient dates.sty, available from good TeX archives everywhere (e.g., http://www.tex.ac.uk/). The latest version is v1.00--2 of 13-May-1994, given in the comments at the bottom. Email me if you can't find it and would like me to send it to you.
It defaults to dates in the form "Friday 20th July 2001", with the "th" raised; but it's easy to configure: just change the definition of "\today" in accordance with the comments at the top of the file. There's also stuff to calculate the phase of the moon (!) in the file but I'm fairly sure that's broken.
