My connection is fine (I've rung my ISP) but I'm having trouble loading pages.
Using a good adblocker (eg. ABP) and a tracking blocker (eg. ghostery) can make things go much faster.
Of course, it could be something completely different causing your problem.

I suspect it's something else as it happens with web pages where there are no ads too. GMail's not doing very well and for a while yesterday I couldn't use ixquick.com at all! Most puzzling.
