I don't think anyone is arguing that the idea of Intelligent Design shouldn't be taught. Just that it should be taught in Religious Education classrooms and not science ones.
Besides, over here, the national curriculum would have to be changed to allow ID to be taught in science classrooms, and there's no way the government could get that through. Faith schools have to stick to the national curriculum just like all the other schools.
BTW: That global temperature vs number of pirates makes me laugh every time I see it.
