I've just finished playing a few games, and have discovered that it's much more enjoyable than your average game of pool, which most pubs now cater for... But I'm currently in Suffolk and I played in the Edwardstone White Horse (which is a village pub not far from my dad's, and one that I'd highly recommend to people that want a quiet, pleasant drink in a village).
