Yup, all the time. From http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/xvnc.html: The script ~/.vnc/xstartup is executed after the server starts. If you want to change the window manager used in your VNC desktop, for example, this is where you should do it. ...so make that file do what your normal ~/.Xclients file would do.
