I do not know where to go from here. Any help would be gratefull to me as well as John Seago as I have got to install his printer as well.

He's got to do mine as well as he's married to my Daughter, plus I've got a little out of balance with my drug regime,and reached the point where having successfully negotiated pressing enter to get Slackware to boot, It took me a very long time to remember how to log in. Severe vagueness has set in I'm afraid, I'll probably get a bit better when the warm weather comes.

I am determined to learn this GNU/Linux thing, it's just the time scale gets longer every day, all I seem to learn is how much I don't know/need to learn.

Still it keeps me busy.

(It would be much easier if I could print out the Doc's How-to's etc., to follow the instructions, what's the bit that doesn't work, the printer!)
