(I guess this is about half on-topic. Apologies for the other half.)
I'm helping out a user who would like to migrate from Evolution to Outlook. Which means I'll need a tool that works something like readpst in reverse. Can anyone suggest such a tool, please?
Thanks,
Dan

*AH* - contacts are a whole different ball game - it might be that you can export them from evolution and import in to lookout - but I've not done that step before. It might also be possible to set up an LDAP server for the contacts, and then use that to sync the two (but LDAP is a royal PITA).
Ah ha - On contacts, right click on the contacts list thingummy in the left, and save as vcard - you should then be able to import that file in to lookout.
Hope that helps,

Almost. Except that Evolution exports all the contacts to a single vcard file, and OL will only import the first contact from any given vcard file. To bridge the gap, I found a GPL'd Perl script called vcf-split on the web.

Just use an IMAP server, copy the mails from Evolution -> the imap server, then connect with Lookout and get the mail from the imap server.
Simple, effective, cheap!
(Of course - anyone that's wanting to use Outlook for e-mail is clearly clinically insane and you should refer them to a psychiatrist, but that's beside the point)
