I have installed Red hat 7.1, when I made the install I had, (and still

recognise
as a three button mouse or have I got to do something arcane to get it to work?
Hi John: I'm always pretty hesitant about offering advice as i am more or less usually completely wrong, but if you want to try a few things whilst waiting for an expert to comment on this, i would have said to take a look at your /etc/X11/XF86Config file - "pointers" section, or rerun XF86Config from a cli. Jen, you may now consider yourself a hacker ;-) you are quite correct about the pointers section, I think the relevant options should be Emulate3buttons (yes or no) and Buttons (a number, change to relevant amount!).

Don't worry Jen, I will through the NT4.0 manual at them ;-)
