Anyone can post if they are having a problem, newbies are welcome although it would be advisable to look at the links in the FAQ first and see if there is a better forum to ask the question or an answer elsewhere.
(of course this means that I have to write the FAQ and get all the links in first)
On the other hand if we setup an alug-newbies list then we can encourage posting there (subject to what I said above) Adam
