Hi I dont seem to be able to copy and paste text from firefox3 into Open office word as i can with windows. installed a clipboard program called glipper but still cannot copy and paste.I really need something with a graphical interface as i am not too good using commands etc. has anybody got any ideas on a program that will do this copy and paste for me?

What happens when you hightlight the text you want to copy and then click with the middle button (or scroll wheel) in Open Office?
That's the standard way to copy and paste in X.

It should "just work". Highlight the text in FF, either right click and copy, ctrl-c, or "edit -> copy", then in OO right click paste, or ctrl-v or "edit -> paste"

Only works from firefox to OO if you use the mouse button and scroll wheel as previous suggestion. but works both ways inside OO Barry
