List admin hadn't been done for a while and I've let through quite a few posts that have an html part attached. Could I remind/ask everyone who does post to the list to try and make sure they try to configure their client to send in plain text only. Or, if that isn't possible could they use a different mail service to send to the list?

Sending mail to the list in html creates extra work for the admins and isn't necessary. I will let some posts from new subscribers with an html part through to the list but if you continue to do so you will get a reminder and your post will be deleted and you will have to resend it. If after a couple of reminders you carry on doing it then your mail will eventually just be silently discarded.
