Dear Egg Spurts - herewith the Debian3 installation saga, Episode 97. Despite successful restrarts with lilo/linux s/dselect/install, the process seems to fail when it gets to the request to acces the web to get the ibm.jdk files. I respond "no+return" but get the same loop. I have d/l the tgz files and burned to CD but can't get install process to look at cd-rom and since system doesn't seem to look at cd-rom, can't copy tgz file to /tmp! Have I invented perpetual emotion? Or as Chef Fourwalls says, "If we 'ad some eggs, we could have eggs and bacon, if we had some bacon."
