I have just upgraded my Debian Sarge/Testing system which included a number of X related packages and console switching (Ctrl-Alt-Fn) has stopped working.
Even Ctrl-Alt-Backspace won't drop me back to the command line even though X was started using '/etc/init.d/kdm start' from the command line on console 1 which is what I have always done. It just restarts X/kdm.
My /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file has not been changed (Does not have today's date) and neither have any of the files in /etc/X11/xkb also all old dates.
Any ideas please?
