I'll burn RH6.1 too.
I have a possible three other people down here who might ask for one too.

Why can't there ever be a meet at Essex Uni btw? Miles easier for me to get to (being located in Luton unfortunanatly atm). Just a thought. The Woodbridge ones are easy enough for me too (living near Ipswich when at home).

Now stop it or you'll upset the Northants contingent :P I'd love to get a meeting in Cambs, south Lincs or Beds, but it's finding a place large enough.
And yes, network connectivity at the weekend is starting to look depressingly unlikely. :(

Ooh don't tempt me;)
:P
I'd love to get a meeting in Cambs,
I belive there is a Cambridge LUG. They have a web site somewhere. Maybe they could help out with a venue? I nearly joined because I was about to move to Cambridge. It fell through and instead I moved further into East Anglia to Bluntisham.

I'll second this. I know of a hotel in Braintree with a meeting room available (for a small charge which I would be prepared to cover myself). Fair enough there wouldn't be any Internet access but perhaps an opportunity would arise where this would be a necessity?
Alternatively! I could ask my boss if we could use one of the rooms at work. We would be able to 'chip' into the network and get Internet access, it would only be ISDN2 but that's better than nothing!.
It's a bit out in the sticks (Finchingfield!) but there's no harm in asking if people are interested!

It would certainly suit me (Maldon based).

There is (was) already an Essex LUG, but it all seems to have gone a bit quite from that direction this year. You could give Geoff Blake (can't find his e-mail right now) but look in uk.rec.radio.amateur for posts from him.
There were several good meetings last year but I think most of the people came from the London end of the county and may have gravitated towards the London LUG.
