In a terminal:- su (give password) supermount -i disable umount /mnt/cdrom umount /mnt/floppy mount -a supermount -i enable (optional: it may change your FS type to "auto", so try iso9660 for CD, vfat for floppy) mount -a This did it for me. And of course:- cp /etc/fstab /etc/fstab.bak ...Just incase it balls up again! :) I suspect that supermount has problems with windows partitions- poss remove from fstab and mount manually if you want to use them?
