Hi Guys, I'm looking for a method of scrolling a HTML page up and down without user intervention... I know of the window.scroll method in Javascript, but I can only get it to scroll down...
The purpose is so a page with monitoring data (MRTG graphs) can gently scroll up so all the graphs are displayed over a period of time...
Any ideas ???
Simon

Last I saw parts of the nus.org.uk (or is it now nusonline.com?) site did this with onMouseOvers on images. See how they do it and whether you can copy their method. Also, make sure you're not using a dodgy Javascript interpreter (such as NS4.x...)

Thanks Mark, The links were fine, but there was no scrolling, well not the type I'm looking for....

Java applet? If you send me a spec and I have time, I'll have a crack for you.
Matt
Have you tried <www.javascript.com>?, failing that I would suspect that there's a java applet out there somewhere that will do what you want. <Victor Meldrew>I can't believe</Victor Meldrew> that noone else hasn't wanted to do something similar.
