On Turning on my computer I found that the resolution problem had solved itself, (albeit not very satisfactorily ). Both sets of Linux are now displaying perfectly, as are their start-up processes. Windows however has dissapeared, it's partition is still there but it is empty! I would very much like to know what I did, in order to avoid doing it again. In case you're wondering why two lots of the same thing, I knew how to get Mandrake 8 to install, and not being sure how to install on my second disk I started with Mandrake 8, I have Red Hat, Progeny, Debian and Slackware as more interesting/exciting projects to install.
