Oh yeah -- the other way to find out what it means is to figure out what is happening to trigger it... eg, in this case, it says apm, so does it coincide with the system suspend or something? -- MJR

Yep, well spotted. I have temporarily disabled apm and all is well. Thanks for your help. Ian.
