I got a (new) replacement printer a while ago when the first Epson packed up and I have not managed to get it to print yet. I can see the print job in the dialogue box and everything else seems OK but absolutely nothing happens when I ask it to print. No noises, nothing. I have hunted round various forums for an answer to this and have yet to get very far.

Immediate questions off the top of my head...
* Is it plugged in... * Is it switched on...
then...
* Is it USB, if so does it show in lsusb? * have you added it to cups correctly? * has cups got the queue paused/stopped?
