As I'm trying to rewrite my firewall script (last one on this system was autogenerated). I'm trying to find a suitable one to crib from. I am a standard dial-up user but with a fixed ip address (I use demon). Obviously I need to browse the net, check my pop3 mailbox etc. and the only services I need to listen on is port 21, IRC and Instant messaging (i.e AIM and MSN). I do no forwarding/masquerading, as I'm not on an internal network. If anyone would like to send me example scripts to this e-mail address, it would be greatly appreciated.
