Hi I have a customer who has 512M broadband to their site. They have recently recruited more staff, and find that 512 is not enough. BT have checked their lin3es and say the they're lucky to get 512 (they are about 5 mile from the exchange). Unfortunately, a 2M link is too expensive.
Is there any way (perhaps with hardware) to configure multiple 512M links into one high spped link? They ideally want 2Mb
Many thanks,
Stuart

There are companies that deal with channel bonding ADSL.
Both lines have to be from the same ISP and some hardware is needed.
If you need more info drop me a line, we deal with an ISP that can do this. I am just about to Channel bond 2 x 2mb ADSL lines for a local school.
Many thanks,
Stuart

Does Trilogy Broadband (http://www.trilogytelecom.co.uk/) cover their area? Personally was impressed with their SDSL service we had in our old workplace 4miles out from the exchange.

Hi Stuart,
Andrews and Arnold offer this service, I have used them in the past and they were a good isp see http://www.aaisp.net.uk/aa/adsl/multiline.html
Thanks Adam

To those considering A&A..
I've had clients that have used A&A, and in dealing with them, they know their onions and support bsd and linux and stuff in the way an isp *should* - ie, if there's a problem they'll actually help you solve it, and if you're/they're stumped, they give constructed educated help instead of saying "reformat and reinstall, it's all your fault".
Had very good experiences with them, and can strongly recommend them to anyone who's considering them.
(I thought I'd offer this input since other people's experiences with an ISP can be a consideration :) )

In addition to what the others have suggested I think that the ISP I resell products for has this capability. Contact me off list if you want me to look into it for you.
Although from memory it costs more than n times 512 lines required...just so that you are aware.
Also if considering SDSL or HDSL remember that both of those technologies occupy the line (or more than one line in the case of HDSL)...the line(s) therefore cannot be used for PSTN calls thereafter. Pretty common knowledge, but I know at least one person who got caught out by this so I mention it just in case.
