Hi I was copying some file to my USB Flash Drive the other day from Xubuntu and it didn't come up with a copy dialog progress box. I didn't think too much of it at the time. This morning I was trying to create an alias of my windows partition on my desktop and accidently dropped it so it is copying the whole partition onto my desktop and there is no dialog or progress box. It is a 6GB partition and there is no way to stop it. I can here the hard drive chugging away so I know it is doing it. Why is there no box that comes up?
