I can't comment on VA as I don't work for or with them, Smoothwall is an independant project. As for *new* LUGs, the Smoothwall project is not involved with any attempt to setup new LUGs, it is a GPL dialup router/firewall project. Again, a separate issue if anyone involved with Smoothwall is involved with LUGs new or old. Personally I consider myself involved with UK LUGs - again a separate issue to Smoothwall, although had that is how I became aware of it at its inception!
Would some of the Smoothwall project team like to visit the ALUG-IRC meeting a week on Monday to present it, answer a few questions, clear the air and show the project in a good light? So that would be 18 Dec 2000 at 2000 +0000, I think.
(Yeah, I'm just itching to use the IRC question bot)

Haven't checked the ALUG site for connection details yet, but I have one available volunteer so far, and if I can get my home machine configured in time, and juggle the necessary time in I may be able to join myself. So fingers crossed we should be able to talk techie with you :-)
