Was that you just volunteering to book the room etc. then?
My thoughts exactly! Seriously: I am leaving UEA and will not be able to book them any more, but I may still be lurking enough to be useful for this meeting, so it would be an ideal time to hand over organising UEA meetings to someone else.
Steve, are you up for this?

If we can't book the UEA I can host at Syleham if needed.
Cheers, BJ

If not Steve are any of our other UEA students able to do this, AFAIK it is not to difficult arrange the room etc. I would suggest speaking to Mark directly if you are able to help in any way. Also if anyone lurking on the list has possibilitys for other venues then please let yourself be known.
The main requirement for a venue is somewhere with power, network connection to the outside world is nice but not essential. Enough tables and chairs for a few computers, tea making facilities are allways nice and most importantly a pub within a couple of miles that serves nice beer and food ;-)
Sundays seem to be rather traditional for Alug meetings but I'm sure we could do Saturday meets also. If there is a fee to hire a venue then most people will help out with a couple of quid towards the cost btw.
