It serves to make them think, and raises the matter as an issue in this election. You can then follow it up with whatever Mark has later

John, I think we are in danger of going round in circles here! I was simply replying to your question about what I thought had changed compared to the various responses from the political parties.
Apologies if I have things muddles but that is how I read their responses i.e that they were written before the Council of Ministers tried to over-rule everything.
Anyway the important thing is that we are basically in agreement about the dangers of s/w patents and the importance of some sport of protest etc. aren't we?
