I made an enquiry of the list on the matter of Btinternent, this was due to their telling me that they were going to discontinue the 08005879089 number and wanted me to use the 08089933004 number instead. Unfortunately the 08089933004 number, as with its predecessor 08089933001 have never connected to BT from my location. The lack of connection became so bad that BT gave me the 08005879089 number and one months refund of subscription, there does however seem to little interest expressed by BT as to how they propose to connect from the end of next week.

Disks from Crazy Penguin, the first CD's I bought came from Crazy Penguin, (their prices were that little bit lower than every one else's), these would not work in either my or my son-in-laws computers, I cut my losses and bought from the Linux Emporium.

If you're going to be at Syleham tomorrow I have Slackware 8, and Progeny, I'm sure someone can copy them for you.
