Well, see subject really.. my girlfriend wants her terminal cursor to more resemble the cursors seen everywhere else, ie: a line instead of a block....
I'm sure I saw a way to do this many moons ago, but maybe not....

I'm not sure that is very easily done with xterm, There are options to do just about everything else to the cursor...other than turn it into a line...xterm also makes the cursor hollow when it doesn't have focus, so it probably doesn't consider you'd want to turn the cursor into a 1 dimensional object.
Is the cursor defined by the terminal's font ? Thinking maybe you could hack it from that end ?
