I think Storm Linux went belly-up, if I remember correctly. The newgroup has only a handful of postings this year: http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&group=alt.os....

and http://www.stormix.com/ is unavailable. The only reference I can find online is Storm Linux 2000, which is 2 years out of date.

Yes, quite correct, that's why I referred to it in the past tense :-)

Still available from linuxemporium, although, as you say, no longer being developed. My understanding is that, once installed, Storm can then be upgraded using the usual debian methods. I believe progeny also uses some type of auto-installer, that could be another avenue for Paul to look at.
