for people? After Christmas, I'd like to try to run "Welcome to Linux" sessions, but there's no replies to the thread on the main list yet...
1 Dec is fine for me. Will it be in the same venue as last time? Is it okay to bring kit?
Re. the Welcome to Linux sessions: http://linuxclub.il.eu.org/newcomers/timetable.html I wonder how many would turn up to the lectures? - it would be quite a lot of work and preparation if no-one were to show up. Wouldn't it basically mean just making the meetings more organised - we already have the meeting, the website advertising them, and informal talks.

It probably will be in the same place, if that's OK for people, but it's not yet booked (send more tuits!). Kit is fine there, of course. Alternative is a town pub, probably Orange House, if we don't want much non-portable kit or any under 18s.

Aye, that's the 64p question. My feeling is that there would be interest and the meetings may not grow much beyond their current sizes if there's not some hook to bring new people in.
