It looks as if IE.. can be set to spoof by modifying the registry under W$. A lot of the other browsers can be set to spoof by modifying their .cfg or .ini type files - either through the browser or editing the file itself. Opera doesnt as yet appear to have that facility so perhaps if anyone knows of an open source proxy it might be worth seing if that can be modified to spoof. On the downside.. http://www.mozilla.org/docs/web-developer/sniffer/browser_type.html seems to be able to work out you inside leg measurement! Tom

The last time that I used Opera it was one of the run-time options as to which agent you wished it to pretend to be. Mind you, that was a year or two back.
