Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck or otherwise with USB Port Replicators - and specifically the sound and serial outputs on them.
I've a system at home that lives underneath my desk, but has no sound card, but given my radio is on the blink I was looking at getting some use out of my mp3 collection and rediscovering some old tunes.
Looking at something like the following ebay lot:

Appreciate any feedback :)

That's a great price! I have a vested interest in USB docks with video so I know how pricey they can be.
I don't know that specific model, so the catch is to make sure there are Linux drivers for all the parts you want to use. The audio part should be standard USB Audio and Just Work (tm).
Good luck, Tim.
