Since Manchester University seem to have decided that retired persons no longer contributing to research in a Department shall no longer keep their email accounts, my existing email address will cease to function shortly.

I have set up a new email address which is:

ted.harding@wlandres.net (Ted Harding)

The existing one (ted.harding@manchester.ac.uk) will still work for a week or two (possibly longer).

If you have my existing email address in your addressbook, please update it to the new one. This message is being sent from the new address, so you may simply be able to derive the new entry directly from that (using some "add to address book" function).
