Sudden silence on-list, eh? I've been racking my brains. Darkest Kent is probably further than I would travel. There may be halls etc in Burwell, if anyone would be willing to travel my way, but they won't be free, so we'd need to know folk were definitely turning up to cover costs. Then again, if you come to Burwell, we may as well set up at my building site/ house, as long as allowances are made for the loud GP racing on telly in the corner of the living room. It's not palacial like Simon's cinema, but I have a kettle :-) The offer is there if we are completely venue-less, anyway, although I wouldn't have deemed it ideal. Jen.

If'd offer mine, but it'll still be a mess from moving in on the 21st April, we move in on the 20th! :) So there won't be any bandwidth either.... Otherwise, I'll happily offer up the place - huge lounge, two offices, dining room and largeish kitchen, good for installfests. I have a lot of cruft here for people to play with too! :)
I'm about a 5 minute out of Ipswich (Rushmere St. Andrews) - quite a bit of parking (probably fit 5 or 6 cars), nice sized garden too - so could probably muster up a bar-b-q later in the summer, if anyone wants?
Should have a pair of ADSL lines and 802.11b in by then too! And if I am lucky, a 2meg microwave link :)
