As you may have guessed, I'm hammering the keyboard far too much out of sheer relief at finding anyone to talk to about cross-platform issues that isn't welded to You Must Use A Mac vs You Must Use A PC, and having felt terribly isolated for the past n years.
So I *am* sorry, I *am* trying to rein in my ramblingness, and I *will* find my level after a while and settle down a bit.
Incidentally, my last too-long-and-rambling message told me it was thinking of bouncing because of a 'suspicious header'. What stupid thing does that mean I was doing?

I have the dubious pleasure of checking through the stuff that gets caught by the spam filter, but I can't say I have any idea why your message got held.

I've just taken a look it appears to be that you sent a message in plain text and also with an html part which is probably what triggered it. You might have also hit the limit for the size of an individual posting which (iirc) is set to be quite small. I'm not a mailman expert though and I've never looked up what the messages mean, i just let them through, reject them or delete.

I clipped in a bad geek joke from my blog, so because I wasn't thinking about whether my stuff was in plaintext or not, I may have confused things!

Apart from the volume (try to slow to two threads a day - you'll get more answers instead of getting thread-killed by anyone who was away for a week), there's also a lack of attribution of quotes in your messages. I think it's rude to take someone's name off their words.
