Hi
Does anyone know any information on the IBM Thinkpad 755CX or where I could get some.
The IBM site is useless unless you already own a thinkpad and can provide a number of it.

At a guess, it pre-dates the A, R, T, X, etc. ranges, which would make it at least 6 years old. Does that sound about right?
I'm not surprised IBM won't tell you much about the laptop ( http://www-132.ibm.com/search/755cx.html ) - Lenovo handle that side of the business now.
The first page on Google suggests you can still get batteries and extra RAM for it, and the spec is probably Pentium MMX (or Pentium II if you're lucky), an 800x600 screen, and a WinModem (some drivers available).
Hope this helps, Tim.

http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:755CX looks relevant, although I haven't checked it out in any detail.
