Am I the only one for whom the Netscape V4.77 (Linux) cache doesn't seem to work? I have disk cache set to 20Mb, RAM cache set to whatever it came with, and the correct subdirectory in the home directory but it doesn't work as expected. I assume that, when I visit a site, the page that I look at is stored in the cache. When I click on the entry in the hotlist sometime later after having hung up the modem line, I should get the page back because it's been found in the cache. But it doesn't. I just get the error box with the unreachable host message.
Maybe I've completely mis-understood how it's meant to work. But this is the way my little old DOS graphical browser works.
Thanks for any ideas!
Gerald.
